Following the latest government advice, we are now open and excited to welcome you back to The Oxfordshire Yeoman!

Social distancing must be observed and site rules must be strictly followed to protect the health of guests and members of staff.

We can’t wait to (safely) see you all again!

Eat In & Takeaway

We will be serving food to eat in either our garden or inside the pub. Take Away Meals will still be available:

Tuesday: 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Friday: 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Sunday Roasts: 12pm – 2:30pm

On Saturdays we will be serving Breakfast Baps from 9.30am to midday. Choose from bacon, sausage, egg or veggie sausage

The Yeo-Op

The Yeo Op is still open, fully stocked with essential items and our changing range of specials.

Opening hours:

Tuesday – Friday: 10am – 2pm
Saturday: 10am – 1pm
Closed Sundays and Mondays


Our Yeo-Café will be serving flat breads, salads, quiches, jacket potatoes, cakes and pastries!

Our cafe will be open:

Sunday-Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday: 10am – 2pm
Thursday: 10am – 2pm
Friday: 10am – 2pm
Saturday: 10am – 2pm

The Oxfordshire Yeoman is a traditional English pub, based in Freeland, Oxfordshire, near to Oxford city centre and Witney.

There’s plenty to see and do in the local area, including Blenheim Palace, Cotswold Wildlife Park and Millets Farm Centre.

It was originally built by William Merry in 1842 and was named the “New Inn”, after being taken over by the brewery, it was restored and renamed the “Oxfordshire Yeoman” in 1974.

We’re available to hire for special events or occasions. Ask us for more info at the bar or give us a call – we will be more than happy to discuss your requirements.
